BREAKING NEWS: EPA wants to say air pollution doesn't harm health
Tell the EPA we need protection for people, not polluters!
Right now, the President and the new EPA Administration are trying to take away important environmental protections.
The Endangerment Finding, issued by the EPA in 2009, is one of the most important public and environmental health protections we have. The Endangerment Finding said that six greenhouse gases (the gases that cause climate change) pollute the air. This allowed the EPA to regulate the amount of those gases that can be released into the environment.
Now, the EPA wants to take back this finding and say that greenhouse gases don't harm our health or the environment. However, decades of science and lived experience show us that these gases are definitely harmful for us and our planet. Removing the Endangerment Finding would protect the companies that cause the most pollution while putting our health, our lives, and our environment at risk.
